Dikshat has passed his LL.B. examination from KC Law College, Mumbai in May 2012 and has been with the Firm since 2012.
Dikshat Mehra has been working as an Associate Partner with their Commercial Litigation, Intellectual Property Rights, Insolvency and Bankruptcy, Dispute Resolution and White-Collar Crimes teams. Dikshat has been involved with attending arbitration proceedings including international arbitration. He has been involved in various high profile and precedent setting litigations acting on behalf of resolution professionals in relation to the Insolvency and Bankruptcy Code, 2016. Dikshat has done litigations across sectors some of which include banking and finance, telecom, pharma, chemicals, media & entertainment, Hospitality, power, steel, infrastructure, oil & gas etc.
Dikshat has acted for clients in multiple proceedings in relation to enforcement of foreign judgments and awards in India. He has represented clients in high value arbitrations both institutional and ad-hoc. Dikshat has also been involved in multiple complex corporate litigation matters. He has also dealt with cross border and domestic shareholder disputes.
Dikshat has also advised Resolution Professionals, inter-alia, filing and defending various applications for and on behalf of Resolution Professionals across various forums including the NCLT, NCLAT, as well as the Supreme Court of India. Regularly advises Resolution Professionals on critical issues arising during the corporate insolvency resolution process, including general process advisory etc.
Dikshat has advised and acted for a renowned group of companies, especially known for the manufacturing and trading of steel, in relation to several petitions filed against them under the Insolvency and Bankruptcy Code, 2016 and was successful in defending the
petitions.
Dikshat has also managed and has appeared himself in SEBI litigations for the Firm and regularly appears before the Securities Appellate Tribunal. Dikshat has also acted in various writ petitions before the High Courts arising from tenders, port trust, banking matters, wilful defaulters, fraud, Lookout related matters etc. He also regularly appears before the Bombay High Court, Delhi High Court, NCLT, NCLAT, SAT, and the Supreme Court.
When not practising law, Dikshat likes listening to music, traveling, and playing cricket.
