Pearl Boga Nagarwalla is an Associate Partner in the Private Equity, Acquisitions (Domestic and Cross Border) and General Corporate Team.
She has been with the Firm since 2014. Pearl has completed her L.L.B. examination in 2010 and her L.L.M. in Business Law in 2016, from the University of Mumbai. She has also completed an online course from Harvard X on Contract Law during the pandemic.
She has over 14 years of experience in private equity, M&A, venture capital and restructuring transactions. She has represented all types of stakeholders including promoters, investors, companies, sellers and buyers in industries ranging from media and entertainment, e-commerce, retail, healthcare, EdTech, manufacturing and logistics. Pearl provides end-to-end client servicing for private equity and M&A transactions ranging from the nascent stage of diligence to closing and post-closing transaction services.
Pearl also regularly advises clients on various legal issues such as corporate governance, policy matters, compliance, exchange control and other government regulations. Pearl has long-standing experience in dealing with intellectual property assignments.
Pearl’s interest lies in travelling, dancing, fitness and reading.
Pearl was awarded with the ‘WIRI Excellence Award’ from the Women in Rotary India for being a dedicated solution in establishing legal aspects and delivering realistic and demonstrable answers to her community.
